Thankamma Ithapiri Memorial Trust (TIMT) was established by Mr. Ajit Isaac as a charitable trust in memory of his late mother, Mrs.Thankamma Ithapiri,
a strong personality characterised by her willingness to help anyone in need.

Mrs. Thankamma Ithapiri was born on the 1st of April 1935, completed her education in the state of Kerala and was a sports champion in swimming and netball. She joined the post and telegraph department prior to her marriage to Mr. AA Ithapiri in the year 1966. Mrs. Ithapiri has two children – Mr. Ajit Isaac and Mrs. Sherin Mathew. Mrs. Thankamma Ithapiri was a woman of great faith and was a strong person by nature. A member of the Marthoma Church in Chennai, she actively participated in the church activities and projects. She passed away on the 30th of April, 2016 at the age of 82 after a prolonged illness with multiple myeloma.
TIMT was registered on 23-03-2017 as a trust under a Deed of Decl N Doc NovRT4-00315-2016-17 in CD VRT-D 331 at the office of Sub Registrar Varthur – Bangalore Taluk.
